What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Sierra Pacific Bill

Sierra Pacific, also known as NV Energy, provides electricity to customers in parts of Nevada. The company offers various online payment options, but if you need financial assistance paying your bill or you feel you won’t be able to pay your bill on time, contact the customer service department immediately for payment plan options.

How to Pay the Bill

Sierra Pacific allows customers to make bill payments by mail, online and by phone. If you are facing a short deadline before your bill due date, contact the customer service department for the fastest payment options.

Pay online: You can pay your Sierra Pacific bill online at http://www.nvenergy.com/home/paymentbilling/myaccount.cfm. You need to register for online account access before making your first payment. Online account registration is free, but users may be required to enter their Sierra Pacific account number to register.

Pay by phone: Phone payments are accepted at 1-800-809-1013. This service is provided by BillMatrix, so you will be required to pay a service fee to complete your payment. The service fee is not charged by Sierra Pacific and none of the fee goes to the company. Payment methods accepted by phone include credit card, debit card and checking account.

Pay by mail: Customers can mail personal check or money order payments to Sierra Pacific. There is a significant wait between when the payment is mailed and when the payment is processed so this payment method should not be used if your payment is due shortly.
