How to Pay the Bill

Online ExpressPay: Customers wishing to make a one-time payment without registering for an online account can pay your Miami Dade Water and Sewer bill online via https://www.paymywasdbill.com/cgi/miamidadeExpress-bin/vortex.cgi. This service accepts bank account payments only.

Online Credit Card: Credit card payments are accepted through Online Resources. Customers must pay a convenience fee of $3.95 to make payment. Payments of $400 or less are accepted.

Online e-Pay: The e-Pay option is available to customers who’ve registered for an online account. Payments are deducted each month from the payment option selected during the registration process.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Miami Dade Water and Sewer charges:

  • Late payment fees: Late payment fees are assessed at 10% of the past due amount. If payment is not made in full or customer service contacted by the 10th day after payment is due, Miami Dade Water and Sewer reserves the right to disconnect service.
  • Returned check fees
  • Disconnect/Reconnect fees: Both disconnect and reconnect fees are charged in applicable cases.
  • Deposit: Deposits are collected from some customers based on credit history and other proprietary factors. After two years of on-time payments, customers may request a refund of the security deposit. The refund will be added to the Miami Dade Water and Sewer bill as a credit.
