How to Pay the Bill
After receiving your Grand Prairie Water bill, you have several bill payment options to choose from for your convenience.
Pay online: The most convenient means of paying your Grand Prairie Water bill is through the online payment center. You can pay your Grand Prairie Water bill online at https://secure.gptx.org/. You do not have to register for online account access to make a payment, but you will need your account number and account PIN. Your PIN is the numeric portion of your address. How the Penalty Fees Work
Penalty fees are charged on accounts with past due balances. Customers also pay certain penalty fees during the disconnect process. Grand Prairie Water will send a representative to your home address to request payment if your account is facing disconnection.
- Security deposit: Grand Prairie Water will charge a security deposit for new service. If the customer makes all payments on-time for 18 months, the deposit will be credited to the water account on the 19th month. A credit will appear on the next billing cycle and may cover one or more months of water service.
- Service activation fee: $25
- In-person collection fee: $20
- Disconnect fee (non-payment): $40
- Locked out fee (non-payment): $50
- Pulled fee (non-payment): $75
- After hours reconnection: $30
- Returned payment fee: $25
- Lock tampering fee: $13.50

Grand Prairie Water does not list payment programs for customers who’ve fallen behind on water bill payments.
