How The Penalty Fees Work
Erie Waterworks charges the following penalty fees to its customers:
- Non Sufficient Funds (NSF) or Returned Check Fee: $20. This is charged when a check bounces or a payment is returned by the bank.
- Posting Fee for Delinquency Notice:: $20. This is charged when an agent has to visit your home to post a tag on your door to notify you of delinquency.
- Service Termination for Non Payment: $25. This is charged when your service is shut off because you are late paying your bill.
