How to Pay the Bill

Paying utility bills has become quicker and easier over the years. Customers can log in to their online account to process payment or they can choose to send payment from their online bank account. Mail payments are still accepted though this payment method is the slowest of all.

Pay online: With a few clicks of your mouse you can be registered to pay your Eugene Water and Electric Board bill online. Simply register at https://apps.eweb.org/ebpp/site and log in to make a payment.

Pay by phone: From your home or cell phone, call 1-541-685-7000 and choose the customer service option. Next, choose the automated payment selection and wait for the service to connect. You will need to have your bill or account number handy to access your account by phone. Once entered, the automated system will take you through the process of paying your bill.

Pay automatically: If you’re sure you’ll have the funds in your bank account each month when your Eugene Water and Electric Board bill is due, sign up for automatic payments. This service sends you a bill via email or mail, but the payment is deducted from your bank account.

Pay by mail: A more traditional means of paying your bill is to send a personal check or money order through the USPS. Send your payment to:

How the Penalty Fees Work

  • Late fee: 1% of the past due balance or $3, whichever is greater.
  • Field collection charge: $15
  • Connection/Disconnect charges: $75 same day; $75 for an additional trip if needed.
  • Suspension charges: $30 during normal business hours.
  • Restoration charges: $75 if received after 3 PM.
  • Dishonored check charge: $25

I Can’t Make a Payment

Eugene Water and Electric Board charges multiple fees if your account is disconnected for non-payment. By the time your service is disconnected your bill will increase by more than $100, so contact the customer service department at 1-541-685-7000 to speak with a representative about a payment arrangement.
