How the Penalty Fees Work

Penalty fees are added to customer accounts when customers don’t live up to the terms and conditions of utility services. For instance, if payments are not made by the due date, a late payment fee is assessed.

  • Late payment fee: 10% of your account balance assessed on the 46th day after the bill is sent
  • Disconnect fee: $60 when service is disconnected
  • After hours fee: $30

If your account is disconnected, you will be required to pay your balance and any fees in full, but personal checks will not be accepted.
