  • Usage – $9.95
  • Surcharge – $10
  • Activation – $100
  • Late payment – 5%
  • Processing – $5
  • Payment arrangements – $20
  • Disconnection – $25
  • Reconnection – $25

I Can’t Make a Payment

When you are facing a financial hardship and find paying your bill difficult, DPI Energy offers several programs and resources that will provide assistance. The services include:

  • Payment arrangement – Prior to receiving a disconnection notice, call 1-877-318-0907 and request a payment arrangement. You past due balance is placed on a payment arrangement plan. The balance is evenly dispersed into manageable payments. You are charged a $20 fee when you place your account on a payment arrangement.
  • Deferred payment – This service allows you to defer payment to a more convenient date. You are required to pay a minimum of 25% of the past due balance.
  • LIHEAP – This service is available through state and federal government agencies. The funds are designed to assist qualified low-income customers pay heating and cooling bills. Contact customer service for more information. You will need to apply for assistance early due to a limited amount of available funds.
