How to Pay the Bill
Pay online: Customers can pay your Cleco online by visiting https://secure3.i-doxs.net/CLECO/OneTimeValidate.aspx . Acceptable methods of payment include electronic check, debit card and credit card. Since the service is offered through third-party vendor Kubra, the service charges a convenience fee of $3.50 per transaction.
Automatic payment: Customers can pay your Cleco bill automatically by having funds deducted on a monthly basis. The funds deduct from your checking or savings account. Cleco does not charge a convenience fee for this service.
Pay by phone: Customer can pay your Cleco bill by phone by calling 1-888-909-4639. The service charges a $3.25 fee per occurrence.

How the Penalty Fees Work
Cleco charges fees for connection, reconnection, late payment, insufficient funds, meter reading, tampering, customer problems and meter reseal.
- Connection – $25 during business hours; $60 after business hours
- Reconnection – $30 during business hours; $65 after business hours
- Late payment – 5% for amount up to $1000; 2% for amounts greater than $1000
- Insufficient funds – The greater amount of 5% or $25 of the amount due
- Meter reading – $20
- Meter re-seal – $20
- Tampering – $100 for the 1st offense; $200 for the 2nd offense; $500 for the 3rd offense
- Customer problems – $25 during business hours; $50 after business hours
I Can’t Make a Payment
Qualified low-income Cleco customers have the ability to apply for Cleco Alternative Rate for Electricity (CARE), Energy Emergency Deferred Billing Program (EEDBP) and credit extension. We were informed of several other local community organizations that provide assistance to Cleco customers with paying your bill.
