What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your TX Gas Bill

TX Gas is a natural gas company serving nearly 100 communities in Texas. More than 600,000 customers rely on TX Gas to heat homes, cook meals and heat water. Customers serviced by TX Gas include residents of El Paso, Austin and Galveston.

How to Pay the Bill

Despite the size of TX Gas and the number of customers served, the payment options are limited. Customers can choose from one of four payment methods.

Pay online: You can pay your TX Gas bill online at http://www.texasgasservice.com/en/MyAccount/PaymentOptions/OnlinePayment.aspx. Registration is required. Online payments are processed by a third-party payment company so you will pay a $1.50 fee per transaction.

Pay automatically: The automatic payment system from TX Gas is identical to other utility companies. The customer enrolls in autopay and the total bill amount is deducted from the chosen payment account each month. Customers will receive a bill, but they don’t have to worry about sending payment as long as the account on file has funds to cover charges.

Pay at a payment location: If you wish to make payment in person at a payment location, you’ll need to do a quick search to find the nearest location. Payment centers are located in most cities serviced by TX Gas.

Pay by phone: Phone payments are processed through an automated voice system. You can use your checking account or credit card to make a payment by phone. Simply call 1-800-700-2443 with your account number in hand to pay your bill.
