What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Taylor Electric Bill

If you live in or around Abilene, your electric company may be Taylor Electric. Taylor Electric is a cooperative, which means service customers are also members of the cooperative. Taylor is one of the many companies meeting customers in the virtual world of smartphones with iPhone and Android apps for account access and bill payment.

How to Pay the Bill

If you wish to make a quick payment, your best option is to contact customer service and make your payment by phone. This is especially important if your service is in danger of being disconnected for non-payment. Contacting Taylor Electric before your due date could eliminate late payment fees.

Pay online: You can pay your Taylor Electric bill online at https://payonline.taylorelectric.com/oscp/. You’ll need your account number to process payment. The account number should be entered without the dashes.

Pay by smartphone: If you have an iPhone or Android phone, Taylor Electric offers a mobile application that you can use to access your account and make payments.

Pay by draft: Taylor Electric accepts draft payments by bank account and credit card. Visit the online payment link above and hover over the Payments tab to learn more about bank drafts.

Pay by auto-pay: You can setup automatic payments through your credit card or checking account. Automatic payments are deducted on the due date each month. If money is not available in the bank account or on the credit card, you could be charged a late payment fee, returned payment fee and an insufficient funds fee from your bank.

Pay at a payment center: There are six payment centers in Clyde, Cross Plains, Abilene, Lawn and Sweetwater, Texas. Visit the Payment Center page for the address to your nearest center.
