What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your RGE Bill

How To Pay The Bill

RGE offers several different options to pay your RGE bill online that make paying your bill more convenient for you. Your payment options include: eBill, AutoPay, online, by mail, in person, and Budget Billing. Gift cards in various denominations are also available so you can buy them when you have extra money and stash them for when you may not be able to pay, or you can give them to others you know.

eBill: eBill is a service that sends an electronic copy of your bill to your email address and allows you pay online or by bank draft. Sign up for the service through your online account, or over the phone with a customer service agent.

AutoPay: AutoPay is a service that automatically drafts money from your bank account on a certain day each month to pay your bill. Enroll online or with customer service. Your bill will be paid on time every time when you use this service, but you can cancel any time.

Pay online: To pay your bill online, visit: https://ebiz1.rge.com/cusweb/OneTimePay.aspx and enter the required information to make a one time payment online.

Pay in person: To pay your bill in person visit the payment center page to find the location nearest you. You can pay in person at one of the RGE offices, Walmart, or via Western Union. Fees may be charged for Western Union payments.

Budget Billing: Budget Billing averages your annual usage and divides it into 12 equal monthly payments so you always know what to expect.

How The Penalty Fees Work

RGE charges a late fee as a small percentage of the overall bill due. If you have your service disconnected due to non-payment, you may have to pay a fee to have service restored.

  • Late payment fee: 1.5% of the past due amount.
