What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your Publix Bill

Since its inception in 1930, Publix Supermarkets have become one of the fastest growing grocery store chains in the United States. Their commitment to community, volunteers and their own employees fosters a wonderful work environment and customer service department. Since 1957 they’ve even offered a credit union for their employees. As a part of the credit union, the Publix Visa card offers several benefits to employees including:

  • Gifts from Store Card Rewards.
  • One point for every $1 purchase.
  • Two points for every $1 purchase made in November and December.
  • 24-Hour access to your credit card information at the online EZ Card Info center.

Publix Employees Federal Credit Union offers several options for automated payment on your Publix Visa Card. The QuickPay option automatically makes your monthly payment by deducting it from your checking account. You can choose to pay the minimum payment, a standard fixed amount of your choice, or your full balance.

Since the Publix credit card has a low APR of 9.90% up to 10.90% many Publix credit card holders decide to transfer other credit card debt to this card. You can even get ScoreCard Bonus Points for every transferred balance. Some restrictions apply, so you should call their Loan Department at 1-800-226-6673 for more information.

Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

The Publix card is available from the Publix Employee Federal Credit Union. The credit union offers a detailed FAQs section that includes information on late payment fees and international transaction fees. The customer service phone number is 1-800-226-6673.

How the Penalty Fees Work

The Publix Visa card carries an APR of 9.90% up to 10.90% depending on your credit history. The minimum monthly payment is 3% of the balance. If the minimum payment is not paid within 25 days, a late fee of $20.00 will be charged.

I Can’t Make a Payment

We were unable to acquire a statement from Publix regarding options for those who are behind on payments. Since bankruptcy is not ideal for either party, it would seem that the company should be willing to work on payment plans. We could not find any reviews online. The fact that this credit card and access to the Publix Employee Federal Credit Union is only available for Publix employees may contribute to the lack of reviews online.

Will They Work With Me To Pay My Bill

Have you had any experience paying off debt on a Publix Credit Card? Were they willing to work out a payment plan or cut your debt down? Let us know about your experience!
