How to Pay Your Bill

You need a valid email address to register for a free online account before you can make an online payment. There are no processing fees when payments are processed through Peoples Gas.
Pay quickly: A quick payment option available to Peoples Gas customers is available through Quick Payment. Customers simply call 1-866-556-6001 to make a payment with checking account, credit card or debit card. Residential customers pay $3.95 per payment and business customers pay $9.95 per payment.
Pay automatically: Automatic payments can be set up from your online account. You must fill in payment information and agree to allow Peoples Gas to debit your payment account each month for the total amount due.
Pay at a payment location: If you want to pay your bill in person, you can visit one of the authorized payment locations. The payment location will charge a $1 service charge for taking Peoples Gas payments.

Minimum payment option: From April to September, customers can pay the minimum payment to keep service intact. This minimum payment option is listed on disconnection notice. Simply follow the instructions on the bill and make the minimum payment to maintain service.
Illinois Patriot Plan: The state of Illinois offers support for gas customers with the primary income provider deployed for active service.
Share the Warmth: This program is open for income-eligible households. If your household qualifies, you must make a payment toward your gas bill. The Share the Warmth program will match that payment up to $200. Income guidelines are as follows per 30 days:

- Four people: $3,725.34
- Five people: $4,361.34
- Six people: $4,988.66
