OGE charges fees to customers who do not pay utility bills on-time. Possible fees include:

  • Collection fee: $15 per service call for unpaid bill
  • Late payment fee: Not listed on the OGE website.
  • Reconnection deposit: If your utility service is disconnected, OGE reserves the right to charge a new deposit or an additional deposit before reconnecting service. This deposit must be paid in addition to the outstanding balance, collection fee and reconnection fee, in some states.

I Can’t Make a Payment

If you find you can unable to make your full payment to OGE on-time, it is important to contact customer service. Customer service advised us they may be able to extend the due date of the bill to give you more time to pay. The alternative option is a payment arrangement to resolve unpaid, overdue balances.

  • Payment arrangements: Customers must contact customer service for OGE at 1-800-272-4791 for information on payment arrangements. The customer service department will look at the total unpaid balance, past account activity and ask for a reason why the bill cannot be paid on-time.
