- Balanced billing: The budget plan offered by Nashville Electric is a rolling average account. This allows the customer to plan on an average bill each month until the payment is reviewed. At the time of review, the billed amount may increase or decrease as needed to cover current, regular charges.
- Third party notification: Customers receiving a cut-off notice may request a third-party receive notification. The third-party is not required to pay the bill, but they do have the option of helping resolve the past due balance.
- Payment plan: Customer service told us there was a payment plan option for past due customers, but the plan details depend on the customer’s current account status and account history.
- LIHEAP home energy assistance program: This federally-funded program helps customers pay your heating or cooling bills. The program is designed for low-income customers that meet certain requirements.
