How to Pay the Bill
You have several options, including mail, online, in person and automatic payments to ensure you make all your energy bill payments on-time.
One-time payment: You can pay your Narragansett Electric bill online at https://www1.nationalgridus.com/narragansett/YourAccount/DualLogin.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fnarragansett%2fyouraccount%2fEnhanced_Access%2fPayOnline.aspx. You must register for online account access to make a payment.
Automatic payment: You can enroll in DirectPay online to have payments automatically deducted from your bank account.
Credit card payment: You can use the Western Union SpeedPay services to make credit card payments. There is a fee associated with credit card payments. You must have your account number and the first four letters of your last name or business name to make a payment.
In Person payment: Find in person payment stations on the Narragansett Electric website.

How the Penalty Fees Work

- Late payment fee: 1.25% of the total amount due; charged per month.
- Returned payment fee: $15 per returned payment, in addition to fees charged by the bank or credit card.
