What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Jet Broadband Bill
Jet Broadband, now known as Shentel, is a cable company offering high-speed Internet, digital phone, home phone and security for business and residential customers. Jet Broadband is available to residents in parts of Virginia and West Virginia. The website for the company offers customers the option of registering for online account access to view bills, make changes to service and pay bills. Registration typically requires the customer enter the account number from the bill.
How to Pay the Bill
The fastest means of paying your Jet Broadband bill is online or in person. If you mail a payment too late, delays could lead to late payment fees being added to your account.
Pay online: If you want to pay your Jet Broadband bill online, you’ll need to register for the Shentel SelfCare system at https://www.myshentel.com/SelfSelect/pages/eCareLogin.jsp. You need the account number and a valid email address to register.
Pay by phone: Phone payments are processed at 1-540-984-5224 or 1-800-SHENTEL. Customers can make payments by credit card only.
Pay by mail: you should use the envelope included with your bill to send payment by mail. If that envelope is not available, send personal check or money order payments to:

Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

How the Penalty Fees Work
Penalty fees are assessed by utility companies when customers don’t meet the terms and conditions associated with your account.
Late payment charge: Customers are charged 1.5% of the billed amount on the 21st day of the month. If the payment is not received by the 5th of the following month, an additional 1.5% will be added to the balance due.
I Can’t Make a Payment
Jet Broadband addresses the issue of non-payment in the Billing FAQs section. Customers are encouraged to contact the customer service department at 1-800-SHENTEL if the bill cannot be paid on-time. If service is interrupted, you will be required to pay the past due balance and any fees assessed to your account before service is restored.
