How to Pay Your Bill

Pay online: Customers can pay your Georgia Natural Gas bill online by visiting https://myaccount.onlygng.com/guest/register;jsessionid=A7465E37335CAB57252788024E426F2E. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments can be made with a credit card or a debit card.

Pay by mail: You can pay your Georgia Natural Gas bill by mail. Send payments to:

Payments can take up to seven business days to post to your account.

Pay stations: Western Union is the authorized pay station for all Georgia Natural Gas payments. Call 1-800-551-8001 and follow the prompts to find the nearest pay station. A convenience fee is applied per occurrence. Payments take up to seven days to apply to your account.

Pay by phone: You will need to call 1-800-551-8001 and follow the prompts. You can pay your Georgia Natural Gas bill with an applicable credit card or debit card. Convenience fees may apply and the transaction takes approximately two days to post to your account.

Automatic bank draft: You can have Georgia Natural Gas automatically withdraw your payment on a monthly basis. Call customer service at 1-770-850-6200 to set-up the service. You will then need to fill out and send in the application.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Along with security deposits ranging from $100 to $150, Georgia Natural Gas charges fees for connection, reconnection and insufficient funds. The customer service representative we spoke to did not disclose information regarding a disconnection fee.

  • Connection – Georgia Natural Gas charges $60 to start service.
  • Reconnection – To reconnect service through Georgia Natural Gas, customers are charged $60. Seasonal reconnection fees range from $75 to $85.
  • Insufficient funds – Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee per occurrence.

I Can’t Make a Payment

Georgia Natural Gas provides several options for customers having difficulty paying their bill.

  • LIHEAP home energy assistance program – This service is for qualified income-based residence and is administered through the Georgia Department of Human Resources. Call 1-404-657-3426 first to see if you qualify for assistance.
  • HEAT – This program is designed for qualified low-income seniors throughout the state.
