How to Pay the Bill

You’ll need to register for an account if you have not already. Online account access is free and allows customers to modify their account and contact customer service via their account.

Pay by phone: Customers can make a phone payment to Detroit Edison at 1-800-477-4747.

Pay by mail: Mail payments should only be used if the due date for the account is at least one week away. Close dated payments could result in late payment charges applied to your account. Mail payments via personal check or money order to:

I Can’t Make a Payment

Home Heating Credit: Customer can apply for the Home Heating Credit each year before the last day of September. The program is open to low-income customers.
