Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

There are times when your bill shows fees that you don’t understand. There is a complete Fee Schedule listed on the Clearwater Power website. Customers can also choose to contact customer service at 1-888-743-1501.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Your payment needs to be received by the due date listed on your bill to prevent penalty fees from increasing the total amount due. Penalty fees will rollover to the following month if fees are charged before payment is made.

  • Reconnect fee: $50
  • Disconnect fee (delinquent account): $50
  • Returned payment fee: $20 per returned payment.
  • Final notice fee: $5 for each notice.
  • Late payment charge: 5% of the past due account balance.

I Can’t Make a Payment

There are plenty of reasons why you are unable to pay your Clearwater Power bill on-time. Contact the customer service department at 1-888-743-1501 for more information on payment plans and extended due dates.

Aside from budget billing, which evens out your electric charges based on the previous 12 months payments, there are no payment programs listed for customers facing financial distress.

LIHEAP: The federal LIHEAP program is available to low-income customers who qualify. Contact customer service for more information on LIHEAP and other local programs.
