What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your City of Garland Utilities Bill

How to Pay the Bill
Pay online: Customers can pay your City of Garland Utilities bill online at https://paynow9.speedpay.com/cityofgarland/index.asp. The payment processor for online payments is Western Union Speedpay. There is a $3.75 fee charged for paying your bill online. Western Union Speedpay accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit cards with a credit card logo or electronic check payments.
Pay by phone: Phone payments are accepted at 1-972-205-2671. Customers should press the number 2 when the call is answered. You will need to have your account number handy when paying by phone or online using Western Union Speedpay.
Pay in person: Garland Utilities offers two main locations for customers to make in person payments.

How the Penalty Fees Work
We were unable to locate the late payment fee or returned payment fees for the City of Garland Utilities. We do know of two fees charged by the city for new service.
Security deposit: $200 for electric, water and waste or $75 for water only
Account establishment fee: $30 added to your first bill
