Walmart Family Mobile is a no-contract cell service powered by the T-Mobile Network. When signing up for service, you will choose you existing phone or select a phone. You will then need to add a starter kit [+], which consist of a SIM card, then connect you service. If you are using your existing phone, you do not need to reprogram your phone.

Plans Available from Walmart Family Mobile
There are three types of plan available from Walmart Family Mobile – Unlimited talk, text and Internet; Unlimited talk and text and
Life Line [+]. You have the ability to add up to five (5) lines in each plan. Walmart Family Mobile offers discounts based upon the number of lines added to your account.
Contract Plans: Walmart Family Mobile does not offer contact service. All of the plans are post-pay.
Prepaid Plans: Walmart Family Mobile does not offer prepaid plans.
PayAsYouGo Plans: Walmart Family Mobile does not offer pay-as-you-go plans.
Post Pay Plans: Walmart Family Mobile is a post pay plan [+], meaning you pay for the service after you use the service for the month. Approximately 30 after you activate the phone, you will receive your first bill. Every 30-days, you are billed according to your plan. In order to qualify for the Life Line discount, you must receive SNAP benefits, Medicaid, Supplemental Security income or qualify for other assistance programs.
- $29.88: Comes with unlimited talk and unlimited text messaging.
- $39.88: Comes with unlimited talk, unlimited text messaging and unlimited Internet access, up to 2.5 gigabytes.
- $19.88 Life Line: Comes with unlimited talk and unlimited text messaging.
- $29.88 Live Line: Comes with unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited Internet access, up to 2.5 gigabytes.
Each of the plans is available on a per line basis. For each additional line, customers have the opportunity to save $5. You also have to purchase a starter kit prior to activating your phone. Each of the starter kits costs an additional $25 per line. If you use more than 2.5 gigabytes of data, prior to the end of the month, you have the opportunity to purchase WebPak[+]refill kits for $10.
