Change H2O Plan Minutes
H2O Wireless is a no-contract mobile phone and broadband company offering customers nationwide coverage and faster data speeds, according to the company website. You can choose to purchase a cellular phone or mobile broadband device from H2O or you can bring your own phone and simply purchase a SIM card and mobile coverage plan to start service. In order to use the SIM starter kit with your current phone, you must own an unlocked GSM phone.
About Your H2O Plan
All you need to change H2O plan minutes is your account login. If you are new to H2O Wireless you will need to register for an online account [+]. If you have already registered, you can simply log in and choose a new plan [+]. You may need to recharge your account before the new plan takes effect if the plan costs more than your previous plan.
Plans Available from H2O
Before you change H2O plan minutes, it is important to compare the prepaid and pay-as-you-go plans from H2O wireless to ensure you get the coverage you need. All unlimited plan come with unlimited talk, text and data – though data coverage slows after you reach the high-speed limit. Pay-as-you-go plans offer the flexibility to choose where you spend your plan credits if you rarely use your cell phone.
Contract Plans: H2O Wireless does not offer customers contract plans.
Prepaid Plans: There are four prepaid plans from H2O Wireless – $30, $40, $50 and $60 [+].
- $30: Unlimited talk, text and 500MB of high-speed data. Comes with $5 international credit and free international text messaging.
- $40: Unlimited talk, text and 1GB of high-speed data. Comes with $20 international talk credit and free international text messaging.
- $50: Unlimited talk, text and 2GB of high-speed data. Comes with unlimited talk to 50 international countries and free international text messaging.
- $60: Unlimited talk, text and data. Comes with $20 international talk credit and free international text messaging.
PayAsYouGo Plans: Though few no-contract phone companies choose to offer pay-as-you-go plans, H2O Wireless offers four plans [+]. Customers can choose from the $10, $20, $30 and $100 plan. All plans come with included minutes that roll over if you recharge your plan before the expiration date. The cost of the card credits your account with that money for additional minutes, text messages, picture messages, data, international talk and international text messaging. Your account is debited the same amount for each across all plans.
- Additional Talk: 5 cents per minute
- Texts: 5 cents each
- Picture Messages: 10 cents each
- Data: 10 cents per MB
- International Talk: 5 cents per minute

- $10: The plan comes with 200 minutes.
- $20: The $20 plan comes with 400 minutes.
