The non-profit organization provides financial services to customers in Milwaukie, Oregon and Lewiston, Idaho. CEFCU features no monthly checking fee and no debit card fees. How to Pay the Bill

CEFCU provides several methods for customers to pay your bill. The available methods include online bill payment, payments via traditional mail, phone payments and automatic deductions.

Pay online: Customers can pay your CEFCU bill online by visiting https://www.virtualbranchservices.com/PaymentCenter/cuttingedgefcu/. The acceptable methods of payment include credit, debit cards and electronic check. The service is free for CEFCU members.

How the Penalty Fees Work

CEFCU charges several fees as a part of regular business. The fees include miscellaneous fees, loan fees, and credit card fees. The fees are assessed on a monthly basis as well as a non-recurring basis.

  • Low balance – $10
  • Check cashing – $5
  • Insufficient funds – $25
  • Stop payment – $20
  • Credit card annual fee – $15
  • Over the limit – $25
  • Late payment – $10
  • Loan extension – $25
  • Refinance fee – $30
  • Low balance – $1
  • Close account – $10

I Can’t Make a Payment

CEFCU provides a one-time payment assistance program designed to assist customers that can’t pay your bill. The program is the skip a payment program. CEFCU allows customers to skip a loan payment during the months of November, December or January. The fee associated with this program is $25 and the amount is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. A portion, $5, will be donated to the CEFCU Credit Union for Kids. The application is available on the CEFCU website and must be returned to a local branch in Lewiston or Milwaukie.
