Beneficiaries must contact Aviva Insurance to file a claim on a life insurance policy. Agents are only available between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. CST Monday to Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST on Friday. There are no weekend hours in the claims or customer service department. When you call to file a life insurance claim, you will be asked questions about the policy holder, including date and cause of death. Documentation of death (death certificate) is required before the claim can be processed.

Payment for your Aviva Insurance life plan may be due monthly, quarterly, every six months or once a year, depending on how the account was setup.
