What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Airtel Bill

Airtel offers several ways for you to pay your bill. Services available include online payments, in-person collection agencies, payments by mail, payments by phone and automatic deductions.

Pay online: Customers can pay your Airtel bill online by visiting https://ebpp.airtelworld.com/care/NetBanking/makeCCPayment.jsp. The company accepts payments with a valid credit card and debit card. Airtel does not charge a convenience fee when making online payments.

Automatic deduction: Customers can pay your Airtel bill by having funds automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Airtel does not charge a service fee when funds deduct from your checking or savings account.

Pay by phone: Customers can pay your Airtel bill by calling 984-901-2345 or 984-909-8490. A customer service representative will assist you with paying your bill with a credit card, debit card or electronic check.

Collection agencies: Customers can pay your Airtel bill by visiting a convenient collection agency. The complete list is available on the Airtel website. The collection agencies accept credit cards, debit cards checks and cash. The company recommends not making payments with cash.

Pay by mail: Airtel provides the address for mail payments on the website. Customers choose the circle, city and location.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Airtel assesses fee to its customers. When speaking to customer service, they explained that the most common fees are insufficient fund fees and late payment fees. Post-paid cellular service may require a security deposit.

  • Insufficient funds – Payments returned from your bank for insufficient funds are assessed a fee of Rs. 100. The fee is added to any unpaid balance. Late fees may apply to insufficient fund fees.
  • Late payment – Customers that pay your Airtel bill past the due date are charged a fee ranging from Rs. 50 to Rs. 100. In the event your Airtel bill is 1500 or greater, the fee is Rs. 100 or 5% of the past due amount.

I Can’t Make a Payment

Airtel did not offer information for local government assistance for customers that can’t pay your bill. They explained that customers must call 984-901-2345 or 984-909-8490 and speak to customer service representative and discuss payment arrangements.
