What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your AC Electric Bill

AC Electric is a Pepco electric company serving more than 500,000 people in the southern New Jersey area. New Jersey is known for cold winters and significant snowfall followed by hot, humid summers. When it comes to controlling electric costs, AC Electric offers customers tips and tricks for reducing electric use.

How to Pay the Bill

AC Electric offers multiple methods of payment for customer convenience. Mail payments are the slowest to process, so customers with past due bills and overdue balances should not send personal check or money order payments by mail.

Pay online: You can pay your AC Electric bill online through the MyAccount section. Visit your account at http://www.atlanticcityelectric.com/home/billing/myaccount.aspx. New customers will have to register for online account access.

Pay by mail: Customers can send personal check and money order payments via mail. Mail payments take longer to process so customers should sent payments well in advance of the due date. The account number should be printed on the front of the personal check or money order.
