Pay online: Customers can pay your Union Power Cooperative bill online by visiting https://services.union-power.com/oscp/. You can make payments using electronic checks, credit or debit cards.

Pay by phone: Customer can pay your Union Power Cooperative Union Power Cooperative bill by calling customer service at 1-800-922-6840 or 1-704-289-3145. A $5 convenience fee is added to you bill payment.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Union Power Cooperative charges a wide variety of charges and fees on a monthly and non-recurring basis. The fees include security deposits, activation fees, late payment fees, returned check fees, reconnection fees trip charges and tampering fees.

  • Security deposit – $175 to $375
  • Activation – $25
  • Late payment – 1.5% of the past due amount or $5, whichever is greater.
  • Trip charge – $25
  • Reconnection – $50 to $100
  • Meter tampering – $250 to $500

I Can’t Make a Payment

When financial hardships arise, Union Power Cooperative assists customers that can’t pay your bill. The available programs include payment arrangements, level billing and cold weather disconnection.

  • Payment arrangements – If you contact customer service at 1-800-922-6840, a customer service representative will set-up your Union Power Cooperative account on a payment arrangement.
  • Level billing – This service breaks down your bill into 12 equal payments.
  • Cold weather disconnection – From the months of December to March, Union Power Cooperative will not disconnect your service for non-payment if you meet certain qualifications. You or a member of your household must be a minimum of 65 years old, disabled or both or not have the ability to pay your bill.
