Google Wallet recently replaced Google Checkout services. Customers can register for a free Google Wallet account online and associate a credit card with the account. Stores and online retailers that accept MasterCard PayPass also accept Google Wallet. Some retailers and businesses also accept Google Wallet by name.

What’s unique about Google Wallet is the fact that anyone can place a checkout button on their product website and accept payments within minutes. If you wish to use the service offline you’ll need to download the application on your Sprint phone.

How to Pay the Bill

You can pay for purchases and bills online with Google Wallet if the service is supported by the company. There are only a few retailers currently accepting Google Wallet, but the list continues to grow regularly.

Pay online: You can pay your bill with Google Wallet online where the service is accepted. All you have to do is click the pay with Google Wallet logo and login to your Google Wallet account. Payment will be deducted from the credit card or debit card on file with Google Wallet.

Pay offline: You can also use Google Wallet at businesses where the service is accepted. Typically businesses with a MasterCard PayPass logo or machine accept Google Wallet.

How the Penalty Fees Work

There are no fees or penalties associated with Google Wallet. However, there may be fees assessed to your credit card account if you attempt to make a payment and you don’t have sufficient credit. If your Google Wallet account is associated with a debit card and you overdraw your bank account, you will likely be charged an NSF or overdraft fee.

I Can’t Make a Payment

If you don’t have the money in your account to make a payment with Google Wallet, the charge will not go through. Google Wallet does not extend credit services. Simply put, if you can’t pay the bill you can’t use Google Wallet. There is no payment plan associated with Google Wallet.
