What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your WTU Bill

Texas is a deregulated state. In terms of electric service, this means retail companies have the right to compete for customers. This increases the number of electric companies in the state and causes constantly changing electric rates and special offers from companies trying to win more business. Despite the competition, some customers still find they are behind on electric bills during peak seasons. WTU is a Texas electric company operating in the retail business sector.
