Great Call is the company behind Jitterbug and 5Star Urgent Response phones and service. Customers must purchase Great Call phones to activate service. There is no option to use your own phone with a Great Call plan. Phones and plans are limited, but customers have the option to change Great Call plan minutes as needed.
About Your Great Call Plan
You choose a Great Call plan when you activate service, but things change and sometimes customers need to add more minutes and features or choose less minutes if they find out they are not using everything the current plan has to offer. The two best methods to change Great Call plan minutes is to sign in to your account or visit a Great Call store in your area [+]. Not all areas have access to Great Call plan stores, but it is simple to locate a store nearby with the Store Locator [+].
Plans Available from Great Call
Great Call offers customers two plan levels to choose from – Basic and GoPlans. Basic plans offers talk, but no text or data is included. GoPlans offer talk and unlimited 5Star and Urgent Care, but only the highest priced plans offer text and data. Text and data packages are available for an additional monthly fee. There are no contract plans available from Great Call.
Contract Plans: None available.
Prepaid Plans: Customers can choose from Basic and GoPlan coverage.
- Basic 14: 50 minutes per month for $14.99.
- Basic 19: 200 minutes per month for $19.99.
- Basic 29: 700 minutes per month for $29.99.
- Basic 39: 1500 minutes per month for $39.99.
- Basic 59: 2500 minutes per month for $59.99.
- GoPlan 24: 50 minutes per month for $24.99.
- GoPlan 29: 200 minutes per month for $29.99.
- GoPlan 39: 700 minutes per month for $39.99.
- GoPlan 49: 1500 minutes per month for $49.99.
- GoPlan Unlimited: Unlimited minutes per month for $69.99.
If you need more than one Great Call plan, you can choose the Great Call 39, 49 or Unlimited plan and add additional lines. The Great Call 39 and 49 plans are available for $14.99 for each new line. The Unlimited plan costs $69.99 for each additional line.
PayAsYouGo Plans: The only pay-as-you-go options from Great Call is the add-on minutes plan. If you have used up your current plan’s minutes and need additional talk time before you change Great Call plan minutes, you can add-on minutes for the remainder of the month. Price per minute ranges from 10 cents to 17 cents depending on how many minutes you add.
