How the Penalty Fees Work
Montgomery Water Works charges multiple fees when a customer cannot make payment on-time or when payments are returned.
- Collection fee: $35 charged when an agent comes to your home to collect payment.
- Returned check fee: $32 per check, per instance.
- Same day service: If reconnection must be made the same day, the customer is charged an additional $50.
