How to Pay Your Bill
Pay online: Customers can pay your LacLede Gas bill online by visiting https://paymentslaclede.billmatrix.com/. Payment options include direct debit from a savings or checking account, debit card or credit card. A service fee applies.
Pay in person: You can pay your LacLede Gas in person by visiting:

Third-party agents: Payments are also accepted at local Schnucks Markets or Dierbergs Markets. You must bring your entire LacLede Gas bill in order to receive full credit on your bill. The third-party payment agents may charge a convenience fee.

Pay by phone: Call customer service at 1-877-839-2478 during regular business hours to make a payment by phone. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards, one-time electronic check or debit card. A convenience fee applies to payments received via credit card.
Automatic payment: You can have LacLede Gas directly withdrawal your monthly payment from your savings or checking account. There are no service or convenience fees associated with this program. A completed application form is required prior to starting automatic payments.

How the Penalty Fees Work
LacLede Gas charges insufficient funds fees as well as late payment fees. We asked the customer service representative at LacLede Gas if there was a security deposit, and they informed us that depended on the individual customer and they were not at liberty to disclose such information.
- Late payment – In the event your LacLede Gas payment is late, the company charges a 1.5% fee that is added to your unpaid balanced.
- Returned check – The fee for a returned check is $15 per occurrence. The amount is added to the total amount due on your LacLede Gas bill.
