You can pay your OptiLink bill in person, by mail and online. There may be other payment options, such as paying at a community bank, but you must contact the customer service department to learn more about local banks accepting OptiLink payment.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Penalty fees are charged when a customer does not fulfill the terms and conditions of service. The General FAQ section outlines two main penalty fees.

• Late payment charge: 5% of the past due balance assessed on the first day after your payment is due.
• Reconnect charge: $50 if service is interrupted for non-payment. Payment is due no later than 10 days after the due date to prevent service interruption.

I Can’t Make a Payment

The best option for customers having trouble paying for OptiLink services is to contact Dalton Utilities at 1-706-529-1313. The phone portion of the bill may be covered by local or state low-income programs, but cable and Internet services are not eligible for these programs.
