What to Do When You Can’t Pay You OGE Bill
OGE, Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company, is a business with more than 100 years of customer service. This electric company company started in 1902 and has since expanded into alternative energy sources for electric power. OGE services both Oklahoma and Arkansas.
How to Pay the Bill
OGE offers current customers several options for paying utility bills, including online payments, payments by mail and payments by phone.
Pay online: Customers can pay your OGE bill online at https://ccs.oge.com/. Customers must sign-up for an online account before making payment.

Pay automatically: Customers can apply for automatic payments by printing and mailing the program application. The application must be mailed to:

Pay in person: In person payments are taken at authorized locations only. Customers can call OGE at 800-272-9741 for a complete list of payment locations. Locations are also available online.
Pay by phone: Phone payments are accepted at 1-877-306-9274. A $2.95 service charge is applied to all phone payments. Customers can pay up to $300 per transaction by phone.

How the Penalty Fees Work
OGE charges fees to customers who do not pay utility bills on-time. Possible fees include:
- Reconnection fee: $35 per instance
- Collection fee: $15 per service call for unpaid bill
- Late payment fee: Not listed on the OGE website.
- Reconnection deposit: If your utility service is disconnected, OGE reserves the right to charge a new deposit or an additional deposit before reconnecting service. This deposit must be paid in addition to the outstanding balance, collection fee and reconnection fee, in some states.
I Can’t Make a Payment
If you find you can unable to make your full payment to OGE on-time, it is important to contact customer service. Customer service advised us they may be able to extend the due date of the bill to give you more time to pay. The alternative option is a payment arrangement to resolve unpaid, overdue balances.
- Payment arrangements: Customers must contact customer service for OGE at 1-800-272-4791 for information on payment arrangements. The customer service department will look at the total unpaid balance, past account activity and ask for a reason why the bill cannot be paid on-time. If service is disconnected for non-payment, a reconnection fee will be assessed and the customer may have to pay a new deposit or an additional deposit to resume utility service.
- LIHEAP home energy assistance program: This service is available for customers that meet certain income guidelines. LIHEAP provides three assistance programs: bill pay assistance, energy crisis assistance and home repairs that will help you reduce your OGE bill.
